Continued Absence

Just a quick note to apologize that I haven't posted anything recently. Ludum Dare left me very unwilling to do any sort of typey-typey. Regardless, I will rectify the matter post-haste come this weekend.

Until then, thanks for checking back.

  1. You're alive! :D

Hey, have you checked out my blog yet? Usually that's how dev blogs get spread around, is by spamming other peoples' blogs, right? That's how I found yours (From Zombox)! :)

Hey, if you don't mind me asking, what language do you use, and what programs? Also, how long did it take you personally to become so adept at game development that you were able to compete in the probably mostly look-up-less Ludum Dare challenge?

  2. Hi there, I have now! Next time you comment, put your blog URL in as a link so that when people click your name they get redirected there.

I use c++ with Visual Studio. I don't use any third party libraries except OpenGL and libraries for Networking, Parsing XML and Playing Sounds.

As to when I started, I've been programming since an extremely early age but only got into c++ around 8 years ago. I've also got a rather strong mathematical background which helps immensely.

If you ever have any questions, feel free to throw them my way, be it code-based or theoretical and I'll see if I can help you out.

  3. Will do! I replied to your comment on my blog, by the way, and it's pretty lengthy, so I don't wanna retype it. And I also wanna funnel more traffic through the blog. :)
